Block Rocket: Two Rounds In, and the Numbers Keep Climbing

Block Rocket is a live game running fully onchain on Canopy, and across two rounds it has grown from 2,632 players in Round 1 to 4,515 in Round 2, up more than 70 percent round over round. A Casual, Addicting Game

Block Rocket is a crash-style multiplayer game. A rocket takes off, a multiplier climbs, and your job is to cash out before the rocket explodes. Time it right and you win. Wait too long and you walk away a loser. It is fast, it is tense, and it is free to play.

You start by claiming free ROKT, the in-game token, then convert it to chips and play. ROKT and chips are free in-game items with no cash value. There is nothing to buy and nothing to lose, just a leaderboard to climb.

Our Competition

We are breaking competitions into weekly events, called rounds. Every round, Block Rocket runs a leaderboard competition across four categories, so there is more than one way to win:

• Top Earners: highest profit
• High Flyers: the best multiplier reached before ejecting
• Iron Nerves: the longest win streak
• Heavy Payload: the highest total volume played

The board resets to a clean slate every round, so a cold streak one round means nothing the next. Winners are recognized in all four categories, which rewards very different styles of play, from the patient grinder to the player chasing one enormous multiplier.

Round 1: "Ludicrous Speed Rumble"

The opening round drew 2,632 players and produced some genuinely wild runs.

Category champions:

• High Flyers: nicetop, at a 99.29x multiplier
• Iron Nerves: vanhusa, on a 162 game win streak
• Heavy Payload: xeno

A few runs stood out. xeno swept two categories, taking both Top Earners and Heavy Payload. vanhusa strung together a 162 game win streak to run away with Iron Nerves. And nicetop flew all the way to a 99.29x multiplier, a hair off the 100x ceiling, to win High Flyers. That is the kind of nerve the game is built to reward.

Round 2: "Meteor Money Run"

Round 2 grew to 4,515 players, up more than 70 percent from Round 1. Same four categories, a fresh leaderboard, and a bigger crowd chasing the top spots.

Category champions:

• Top Earners: shanliangshaonv
• High Flyers: Miinzoshi, who rode all the way to a 100x multiplier, the game's ceiling
• Iron Nerves: nicetop, on a 152 game win streak
• Heavy Payload: xeno

The bigger field brought some standout runs. Miinzoshi hit a perfect 100x, the multiplier ceiling that Round 1's best run just missed. xeno defended the Heavy Payload crown from Round 1 and finished near the top of the earnings board again. And nicetop backed up a Round 1 High Flyers win by taking Iron Nerves this time, with a runner-up 99.7x multiplier for good measure. The regulars are getting sharper, and the field keeps growing.

Round 3: Now Live

This next round, we are upping the difficulty: we are eliminating auto-eject. Players will have to test their mettle against the clock to rack up the largest scores and streaks.
