In our previous post, we outlined Canopy’s Road to Mainnet [https://www.canopynetwork.org/learn-more/road-to-mainnet]. We’re barrelling toward the finish line (mainnet!) and ready for community contributors to jump on board.

Right now, we’re in Alphanet - a closed testing phase managed by the core team. We're using this time to complete the developer documentation, finish key features, test everything we can, and onboard participants for Betanet. 

Next up is Betanet, a testing phase for experienced validators. We’re looking for teams who have launched networks before and can provide actionable feedback. Betanet is expected to begin ~July 2025 and will last approximately 30 days. If you’re interested in participating, please sign-up here [https://www.canopynetwork.org/validators]. 

Lastly, we have Mainnet. That’s when things get real. Canopy will be fully permissionless for any participant - validator, delegator, builder, or contributor. We’ll be opening applications for our incubator program as well as some other community activities.

• Start a conversation: Whether you’re interested in building an application, running a validator or being a community voice. 

There is no VC funding or resource stash. Canopy will only grow with its community. Be early.
